Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 – Under 2s) Location: East London Contract: Full-time Start date: ASAP About the Role We are looking for a caring, dedicated Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 qualified) to join our friendly and nurturing nursery in East London, working primarily with children under the age of 2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and understands the importance of providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment during a child’s earliest years. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–2 years Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework Support children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Carry out observations, assessments, and progress records Ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment at all times Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policiesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have: Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential) Proven experience working with children under 2 A sound understanding of the EYFS, particularly for babies and toddlers A warm, patient, and nurturing approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfareWe Offer: A welcoming and supportive nursery team A well-resourced, caring setting focused on child-centred learning Ongoing training and professional development opportunities A positive working environment where staff are valued We are committed to safeguarding children.
