About Our Client Our client delivers ethical, collaborative property partnerships across the Construction and Living Markets. With a strong public sector footprint and a clear growth strategy, they are focused on winning high-quality work through evidence-led, compliant and well-structured bids — not volume submissions. They are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Writer to play a pivotal role in securing public sector and institutional frameworks, particularly within Local Authority Purchase & Repair and capital works programmes. Key Responsibilities * Own the preparation and submission of PQQs, SQs, ITTs, DPSs and framework bids * Write high-scoring method statements, quality responses and social value submissions * Ensure all tenders are fully compliant with instructions, evaluation criteria and deadlines * Coordinate inputs from operational, commercial, finance and H&S teams * Support bids across Purchase & Repair programmes, including acquisition support, void refurbishments, compliance works and KPI-led delivery * Prepare submissions for capital works frameworks covering planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit, voids and Decent Homes works * Maintain bid trackers, timelines and submission governance * Review and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency and scoring alignment * Build and manage a central bid library including case studies, CVs, policies and accreditations * Analyse feedback and drive continuous improvement in bid quality and win rates * Ensure submissions accurately reflect current accreditations (e.g. Constructionline, CHAS, ISO) * Support framework audits, refreshes and re-submissions Skills & Experience * Proven Bid Writer or Proposal Writer experience within construction, property, housing or public sector services * Strong understanding of public sector procurement and framework bidding * Excellent written English with the ability to produce clear, persuasive and structured responses * Highly organised with strong attention to detail and deadline management * Confident working cross-functionally with senior operational stakeholders * Experience with Purchase & Repair, capital works or housing frameworks (desirable) * Familiarity with procurement portals and evaluation methodologies (desirable) Why Join Our Client * A key role within a growing, multi-disciplinary property and construction group * Direct involvement in securing long-term public sector frameworks and programmes * Flexible part-time or full-time working options * Competitive salary and benefits package * Hybrid working in a supportive, professional environment This is a role for someone who believes quality wins work and wants to be part of a business that values structured thinking, collaboration and doing things properly
