Flood Risk Consultant £30,000 - £38,000 Southampton We’re representing a leading consultancy looking to expand its environmental and infrastructure planning division with a Flood Risk Consultant in their Southampton office. You’ll support the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) strategies, and drainage design for development and regeneration schemes. The Role: Preparing flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning applications Supporting senior consultants on SuDS design and feasibility studies Using GIS, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modelling software Liaising with local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders What you’ll need: Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science 1–3 years’ experience in flood risk or drainage consultancy Strong understanding of SuDS principles and relevant legislation Excellent written and analytical skills The Package: £30,000 – £38,000 DOE 25 days holiday + bank holidays Hybrid working and professional development support A brilliant opportunity to develop your technical skills within a growing and supportive team.
