Credit Controller 📍 Location: London Victoria (Office-Based) 💰 Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 🕒 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Our client is a leading luxury travel company based in London Victoria and they are seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage a busy and dynamic ledger within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Proactively manage a portfolio of approximately 250 accounts, ensuring balances remain within agreed credit terms. * Act as the main point of contact for all credit control matters relating to your ledger, maintaining strong and professional relationships with clients and partners. * Work closely with the Senior Credit Controller to ensure all cash is allocated accurately and remittances are received in a timely manner. * Maintain up-to-date and detailed notes on all chasing activities within the accounting software. * Prepare and deliver monthly statements to all hotels within the first week of each month. * Maintain a mini aged-debt report, tracking follow-ups and outcomes of all collection activities. * Escalate any unresolved issues to the Senior Credit Controller before accounts reach 90 days overdue. * Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc duties, including managing the shared credit control inbox and assisting with daily cashbook entries. Skills & Experience Required * At least 1 years’ experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or luxury sectors. * Strong communication and relationship management skills, with a confident and professional approach. * Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. * Proficient in Excel and accounting software * A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
